Help the Hintze’s

A few weeks ago we found out that Thomas needed open heart surgery. The extra membrane he has in his heart has grown and begun to dangerously narrow the passage of blood to his aorta. This had caused his heart to enlarge and the L side of his heart to thicken. There is no pediatric cardiac surgeon in Boise and so we have to travel to University of Utah hospital where a pediatric surgeon and adult surgeon,who specializes in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy will work together to repair his heart. The cost is staggering, even with good insurance.

We are looking for help with the cost of travel, lodging, food and medical Bills. To make matters worse, my husband Jeff was in severe pain from an ankle injury and required surgery. He will be in a boot non weight bearing the next 6 weeks, during the same time that we expect surgery to happen for Thomas. Any help would be appreciated.
