Help the Hearndon's

As everyone knows my family was in the accident on Hwy 614 in Hurley on Sunday! My dad and cousin are okay they are sore and bruised but my step mom has brain injuries and fractures on her skull. She also has a fractured neck. As of today 9/12/17 she was making improvements but she still has a long road ahead of her. On 9/11 her brain was swelling too much so they had to relieve pressure by taking the right side of her skull off so she could have room to swell. The Ct scan at 3am on 9/12 showed she was making improvements so at about 11:30am on 9/12 they did plastic surgery to fix the cuts and gashes on her face and head. We don't have any new updates right now but we will update as we can. We are hoping after USA she will get sent to Atlanta to an amazing facility that helps with brain injured patients. Money is tight and in order for my dad to be with his wife every step of the way he will need to take off work. We hate to ask for help but he will be out of work due to being hurt himself and his wife being hospitalized with brain injuries and her still being unconscious. If she gets accepted into the facility in Atlanta my dad wouldn't want to leave her side. Bills are piling up and with him being unable to work it's hard to pay them.
