<p>On July 16, 2025 a severe lightning strike caused a fire that burned down the Hampt family's Wood shop. The devastating fire burned Sophie's just completed 4-H woodworking project, along with wood for a few future projects. This is a time of so much uncertainty and the Hampt family is so grateful of your support. Will insurance cover the wood for Sophie's project that she bought or the specialty wood for other projects being worked on? The Hampt family is extremely grateful that the Manchester, Lineboro, &amp; Hampstead fire departments were so quick to respond and extinguish the fire before any homes were damaged. If you choose to send your support to the volunteer fire departments, we encourage that.
