<div>On March 26th my brother in law, Tyler, had a grand mal seizure in the middle of the night. He was rushed to the hospital where it was discovered that he had a Glioma brain tumor in his left parietal lobe.

<div>The news absolutely shocked and devastated our family.
</div>

<div>After research and careful consideration, they decided on a treatment plan at Moffitt Cancer Center. He had a craniotomy to remove as much of the tumor as safely as possible on April 25th.
</div>

</div>
<div>This surgery is difficult as its extremely challenging to remove all of the tumor without severly damaging normal brain tissue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Emotions were high on surgery day but Tyler had an amazing care team and his surgeon was able to remove more than 75% of the tumor. Although the surgery went well, he has been battling post surgery sickness, he will need physical therapy to walk properly again and will undergo radiation or chemo to further treat the brain tumor.

<div>Right now the main focus is helping him regain strength and recover post surgery. If he is approved, proton radiation would be ideal to treat the rest of the tumor, but they are still reviewing his treatment options with his care team at Moffitt and have not decided on an exact treatment yet.

<div>Tyler and Paige’s strength has been incredible through all of this. They are taking it day by day, but there is still a long road ahead of them.
</div>

<div>With Tyler fighting an unimaginable battle, Paige is now primary caretaker for him and their 2 and 1 year old boys, Harrison &amp; Hayes. Since their families live out of state, they do not have the ease of family support for child care either.
</div>

<div>It has been extremely hard to witness what they are going through and the feeling of wanting to help them in anyway possible.
</div>

<div>We are starting this go fund me to help ease the burden of meals, child care expenses, medical expenses, whatever they need during this difficult time.
</div>

<div>So many of you have already reached out wanting to know how you can help. We just want everyone to know your love and support means the world to the family. Paige was reading people’s messages to Tyler after he woke up from surgery and said it was one of the few things that lifted him up and helped take his mind off the pain.
