Help The Grand raise funds for youth counselling
Donation protected
Join a sponsored walk on 14 May and help raise vital fund for Gravesham’s youth counselling service, Active Listening.
Our 9-mile walk will start at the Civic Centre in Gravesend. From there we’ll walk through the town to join the Saxon Shore Way and follow the path along the banks of the Thames to reach Shorne Mead Fort.
Anyone can join the walk and go at their own pace. We’ll be social distancing throughout the walk, keeping to groups of six.
All funds raised will go to The Grand and Gifted Young Generation’s Active Listening service, which provides free counselling to young people aged 11-19 years and up to 25 years for young people with additional needs. The counselling service supports young people with mental health support from a professional counsellor.
Our service has grown over the past 10 years and we now have two counsellors working each week with young people locally. The funds we raise will help us to sustain the service. Young people who use our youth service raises money each year to support Active Listening.
