Help the Golmons care for others

My name is Katie, I live in Portland OR, and my cousin Chloë and her family live in Nederland, Texas- her city is part of the larger community that includes Groves, TX- an area that has been devastated by Harvey but does not have access to any of the Red Cross/Amazon drops right now, at least that we've been able to track down for her. We've been advised that this area needs MONEY, but we aren't aware of any places distributing supplies to this particular area, and they don't have access to anything in Houston.

This morning she made it to the only open store in the area and waited in a line around the parking lot in order to stock up on supplies for moms, first responders, the homeless, and people staying at her church. She's organized meals for the exhausted First Responders and arranged to get them showers at the ER. She's working so hard while her husband Jake has been out making water rescues (over 200 people were pulled out by his crew before the Feds got there to take over), and she's buying all supplies out of pocket, ALL WHILE taking care of their four children.

Chloe's home is safe, but their SUV was destroyed in the flood, their business is underwater, and she's still pressing on to help others.

I'm creating this with the goal of getting money directly to her so she can keep buying supplies and food for all those hard workers and victims without depleting their own savings, which they'll sorely need as they rebuild their business later. <3 They aren't worrying about their own needs at ALL at this time, so you better believe I'll be making another one of these specifically for their family later as they recover from this devastation.

So many of you are asking... what can I do to help? We will be collecting items at our church to share with those in our community and in the surrounding areas that are hurting right now. Suggested items to bring/send are:

Toiletries
Diapers
Bottles
Formula
Feminine hygiene products
Gift Cards to Walmart & HEB

These stories are abundant, all of her neighbors have lost the same and are giving the same. It's trule inspiring to see her community rally around each other, I just want to make it a little easier for the Golmons to keep contributing. <3
