Help Mom to Rebuild her life.

My Mother Deedee  lost their home in the Santa Rosa fire, Mark West Springs Road was where they lived.
Monday night at 1 am they got a call to evacuate, they hurried as fast as they could. The power was out so my mom grabbed her laundry basket that had some clothes in it, everything happened so fast she didn't know what to grab.  She also grabbed her laptop because she couldn't find her phone and they where running out of time. They got out and she was able to message me explaining what happened, and that she was safe. Waking up that morning to some messages  on fb she wrote real fast, was shocking. Then I couldn't get a hold of her it was almost a full day an no word from from my mom. The family started to panic. Later we realized she had no ones number and the power was out so she couldn't get online to use her laptop. Finally power came back on and she was able to contact us. She then explained what happened and she told us it felt like she was in a war zone the first night, all they could hear where loud booms coming from all directions.
She then began to explain what she saw as they left their home behind, the sky was red, so the fire was very close to them. When they drove away they past many houses in their neighborhood and many where in flames. My mom got out in time, we are so thankful for that since we can't replace her , but all she could take was two boxes of photos. Those two boxes is all she has now. She even had to make a trip to the store to buy a hair brush and it broke her down, something so little as a brush just crushed her. Then she explained  that driving around the neighborhood has been hard as well. Since everything is now gone. Her whole block is gone, the stores are gone! Everything is black and gone! I can't imagine how she felt. Having to start all over agian and losing things like my sister and I baby keep sake things,  she kept a lot of my stuff as a child and my sisters. And it's hard to believe those kind of things are gone forever.  Since the first day she has been trying to get back home, to see what is left but they haven't let them in yet. Its been very painful not knowing or seeing the damage of their home and to look threw the ashes to see what survived, if anything made it though this awful fire. Mom is out of work, she has lost all work clothes and all contacts with jobs since her phone was never found , and the saddest  part is my mom has no home. Nothing!
My mother will need to start over and start a new life, that the fire took from her. In this tragedy she needs a helping hand, a big helping hand. She will need all the help she can get since her  clothes and shoes even her toothbrushes are gone, this fire has taken everything!  To help my mom to rebuild what  she has lost we have to start by helping her recover what she lost and get a roof over her head. I also want to thank everyone for all the prayers even the kind words. My mom, and us kids appreciate!
