Help the Galligans During Tim's Cancer Treatment

Friends and family of Tim and Wendy Galligan may know that Tim has been struggling with his health in recent years. After many, many doctors appointments, the mystery was finally solved when he was diagnosed with a type of rare blood cancer known as a myeloproliferative neoplasm. This cancer affects the cells in the bone marrow and can develop into other cancers, like leukemia. Tim has undergone a variety of treatments thus far. Since this cancer has dramatically affected his quality of life, he decided to undergo the rigorous process of getting a stem cell transplant, which he began receiving in August 2024.

In order to get this treatment, Tim and Wendy have had to temporarily move away from their home in northern Wisconsin and in with family, in order to be closer to Tim's doctors at the Mayo Clinic.

We are fundraising money to help cover living expenses for Tim and Wendy while Tim undergoes the months-long treatment, as Wendy has had to take an unpaid leave from work to serve as his caretaker during this intense treatment.
