After making the difficult decision to terminate an employee, I experienced an online campaign that severely damaged my business’s reputation and customer confidence. At the same time, I was overwhelmed by a wave of bank chargebacks that created a financial crisis for my small business. The money that should have gone toward people who needed refunds, inventory, manufacturing, and growth instead went toward fraudulent attempts to get refunds on completed and used purchases, ultimately forcing me to shut down our website’s checkout despite continued demand for our products.

Since then, I have done everything I can to keep The Funky Poodle alive. I’ve exhausted my savings, sold personal belongings, and explored every financing option available because I refuse to let years of hard work disappear. I never stopped believing in this company. I’ve continued improving our products, preparing new inventory, and planning for the future. Our customers continue asking when we’ll reopen, and that support reminds me every day why this fight is worth it. This business is more than my livelihood—it’s my life’s work, and it’s a brand built alongside an amazing community that has stood with us through our highest highs and our lowest lows.

Today, I’m asking for your help to take the final step toward reopening. Every contribution will go directly toward restoring our website checkout, purchasing inventory and packaging, manufacturing products, and covering the essential costs needed to get The Funky Poodle operating again. Whether you’re able to donate, share our story, or support by ordering our products, your support gives us the opportunity to rebuild, recover, and continue serving the grooming community we love. If you’d like to order products, please email [email redacted]. Thank you for believing in second chances and for helping us write the next chapter of The Funky Poodle.
