Help the Fang Family After Children Abducted

Jeffrey Fang's two toddlers were abducted when his car was stolen, Feb. 7. A gig driver, he was delivering for Door Dash when his kids were taken. For hours he and his wife didn't know if they'd see Winifred and Sean, aged 4 and 2, again.

Jeffrey is an immigrant and also a proud San Franciscan who has been here for years, working hard, long hours in the gig economy to bring his family from China to California. This incident was incredibly frightening, traumatizing, and will take them time to recover.

Lets rally together and help the Fang family take some time off to rebound from this. Thank you.

Clarification: A lot of people are writing in asking how I know Jeffrey and to be sure the funds will go to him. I'm a journalist in the Bay Area, and have been for 8 years now. When I was a student learning journalism at City College of San Francisco, Jeffrey was a student representative on the college board. We used to just be acquaintances, until we bonded over Star Trek and entertained each other with our favorite Trek quotes ("the line must be drawn, here!") on a long bus ride up to a protest in Sacramento.

That was nearly ten years ago. When he left City College and I moved on to become a professional journalist, we stayed friends.

I have a long track record in San Francisco, so I hope that could engender trust. This is my Twitter.
