Hi there! I’m reaching out to you on behalf of Kayleen and Zeke Delgado (my sister and brother-in-law), who have just been blessed with the birth of quadruplets! Three identical girls - Kit, Jane, and Fern and one sweet boy, Royal. Each of these beautiful babies are bringing so much joy, love, and excitement into their lives, but as many of us know raising one newborn is no easy task. Raising four is three times as hard! The quads were born on November 15, 2024 and spent a few months in the NICU. Royal was the first to come home on January 5, and all three girls were able to come home on January 19th.
Kayleen and Zeke also have two older girls, Hadassah (8) and Eden (almost 5), who have been such big helpers with their new babies and are so in love. This sweet family doubled in size overnight!
In order to provide the best care for their six children while maintaining their own health and well-being, Kayleen and Zeke have hired night nannies to help care for the babies during the late night hours. These nannies are vital in allowing the couple to get much needed sleep so they can continue to provide the love, attention and constant care that their sweet quadruplets need.
It takes an hour and a half to feed, burp, and change all four babies every three hours. Without night nurses, Zeke and Kayleen are only getting an hour and a half of sleep in between each feeding. Having a nanny to be there and take care of all four babies from 9:30pm to 2:30am gives Kayleen and Zeke a much-needed five hour stretch of sleep so that they can take over and do the last feeding of the night and still be able to function during the day. Hiring night nannies comes with a significant financial burden that Kayleen and Zeke are struggling to manage on their own.
The babies also need specific formula to supplement their diets. Kayleen has been pumping around the clock and has been blessed with breast milk donations, but with each baby drinking 3oz at each feed, that totals 96oz every 24 hours! Supplementing with formula is essential to keep the babies calorie intake where it needs to be. But as we all know, formula isn’t cheap! That’s where your support comes in!
How your donation will help:
A night nanny will come each night for 5 hours so Kayleen and Zeke can get rest. The nanny will take care of feedings, diaper changes and caring for the quads late at night.
It will also help pay for formula (which is currently around 500 oz. a week) and diapers for all those bums (between 224-280 each week!)
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful impact on their ability to care for their quadruplets while navigating this challenging, (but joyful!!) journey of parenthood.
Thank you so much for your love and support. Whether you donate, share this go fund me, or pray for them, your help means the world to the Delgado’s. ❤️
Also if you donated to our last campaign I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support took care of medical bills, airbnbs, car seats, gas for our daily drives to Modesto’s NICU, car seats and more. Thank you, thank you!
