Help The Compound Get A Facelift!

Hey Friends!
.
My name's Mike, I'm the owner of The Compound, Anatomy Craft Coffee Bar, and Smash Squared Slider Bar in Honesdale PA. The Compound is a Creativity Center right in the Heart of Downtown Honesdale offering a full espresso & coffee bar, breakfast and lunch featuring locally sourced products across a classic breakfast and slider menu, co-working space, youth education & tutoring, music, art, events, in an ever-changing environment consistently adapting to our patrons wants and needs. Over the last year and a half, we've created & inspired so much art and community thanks to the help of our local community. We offer a space that thrives off creatives and provide all the means to do so. We're an inviting, relaxing environment, offering favorites across the board and always have something happening at The Compound!
.
We offer so much and advertise as much as we can, but one thing we've neglected since inception is the facade of our beloved Compound. The building we operate in is family-owned, much like the vibe we've created in what we consider a giant living room. We've teamed up with Young Entrepreneur, Kelsey Omies of KLSY Design, a hometown acquaintance who (first thought I was crazy) took us on as her first commercial client to design the overall feel and vibe of our interior, and now to redesign the facade of our building.
.
Honesdale is a Small Town Vibes kind of place, and history and charm are both highly respectable aspects of the town we reside in and is something to be considered with any new design. We're building for a future in this town as organizations across the local area are working to create an unforgettable tourist destination. The Compound is along for the ride. Right now the facade of our building, as beautiful as it is, needs to get a facelift. Our Current appearance is below:
We're looking to enhance the overall appearance while keeping the charm of the building. With a little explanation of my vision for the building, Kelsey was able to create digital renderings presenting a few different options. After running a social poll across our accounts, we've landed on a decision:
We sought to create an eye-catching modern/rustic feel and I feel that was accomplished with this design. We'll be adding brick veneer to the lower half and adding some pop to the existing slate bottom. Taking the existing window and building moldings and giving them a fresh coat of paint to make them pop on the white upper facade. Some metal awnings across the front, window decals, signage, and outdoor seating will tie up the whole front, with a few personal touches, of course.

So let's get to why we're here, shall we? We consider ourselves a community hub, as do many of our patrons. We've inspired so much talent and art, we've expanded, we source local, we provide opportunity, and we offer a space for creativity with capabilities to take anyone's vision into a reality without limitations, whether that be content creation, inspiration, food, entrepreneurship, you name it, we can do it. Our patrons give us credit for creating a welcoming environment, and we receive constant thank yous and gratitude for what we do here. I type this only from the feedback we receive, and we want to continue to thrive and give back to our community. You see our gift cards in charity baskets, in your corporate holiday packages, you see us at community events, you see us shopping at farmers markets, and strolling Main Street working every day to make a difference, and to keep our doors open, keep a genuine product, keep the art flowing. So now it's our time to ask for help.
.
We want to get our building facade done as soon as possible so we can create a beautiful addition to Main Street and enhance the overall appearance of a place everyone has come to love. We like to work quickly and turn visions into reality as fast as it can be done. At this time, we have received some community funding from the Wayne County Community Foundation, and we are working with The Greater Honesdale Partnership to receive a partial grant specifically to enhance our face. We estimate this project will cost around $10,000 and we are looking to raise a chunk of that amount from our community to get us to our goal of completion. We know it's a long shot, but hey, what's the worst that can happen?!
.
We thrive on community and creativity, and we would love to enhance the space we've created. With your help, we can make that vision a reality. Thank you for your consideration.
