Hello, My name is Michele Asbury and I worked with John Cogdell in Yosemite Valley Campgrounds. This last week John passed away leaving behind his wife; Carrie, 5 grown children; Shawna , Shannon, Sierra, Shawnee, Rowan and 12 year old son Lonnie.
John had a massive heart attack last year and he was so upset that he wasn't going to get to be a Bear Ranger. He was given an extra year of life and didn't have to spend it in the hospital. He got to spend it in his favorite place, Yosemite National Park and finally work with the Bear Team.
John always had a smile on his face and had such stories that could relate to anything that was happening in the present time. He will be missed by so many people. Please join me and help donate to Carrie and Lonnie to ease some of their financial worries as they mourn our beloved John.
Carrie has the funeral expenses, mortgage, and other expenses of life. He was the main bread earner which is why I have this Go Fund Me page to help the Cogdell's out through this mourning period.
