The Carey-Beehler Family Needs Your Help
Donation protected
Let's rally around the Carey-Beehler family as they face this challenging time! Alissa, a mother of three young children, is currently in the hospital after her water broke at just 26 weeks pregnant with her and fiancé Derik's fourth child. The medical team is working tirelessly to stabilize her and ensure the baby remains safe. However, this is just the beginning of a long and uncertain journey for Alissa and Derik's young family.
While Alissa is fighting for her baby's health in the hospital, Derik is shouldering the immense responsibility of caring for their three children—Alec, 13, Gracie, 6, and baby Emmie, age 1, who still needs her mother's care. Derik is doing his best to keep the family together while Alissa and her unborn child are in the hospital 115 miles away from their home. Thankfully, the excellent staff at St. Charles Medical Center were able to get Derik and the children a room at the Ronald McDonald House so the children can be near their mom when they are not in school. Although this is a huge help, Derik still faces the immense challenge of traveling between Spray, Oregon, and the hospital with the children for the foreseeable future.
We hope to keep Alissa's baby safe and keep her from being born for at least the next eight weeks. However, we are also preparing for the reality that the baby can arrive at any time and that once the baby is born, she will need to spend an uncertain two to four months in the NICU—an experience that no family should have to endure alone. This extended stay will create a significant financial strain and overwhelming stress for Alissa and Derik.
Your support at this critical time can make a significant difference in the Carey-Beehler family's journey. Whether it's a monetary donation, sharing this message, or sending words of encouragement, your kindness and support can profoundly impact their lives. We are deeply grateful for any form of support you can provide. Together, we can help lift some of their burdens and provide comfort and strength in the days ahead. Your contribution, no matter the amount, is significant. Thank you for considering supporting this family as they navigate this emotional journey.
