Help the Byrd Soar to Serve

When I first met the incredible Haley Byrd, it was an understatement to say that I was infatuated with her. Sure, she was beautiful (again an understatement) but she gave off this unseen aura, a vibe so to speak that was contagious. I needed to get know her.
That was the greatest decision I had ever made.
Haley Byrd is intellectual far beyond her years and her heart is deeper beyond thought able to be capacitated. I saw that she had a servant's heart. A heart to want the heart of God. She spoke as if she wanted to speak like Him. She wanted to see what He saw. Much like the song that describes it, she was afraid to have these abilities.
However, she is afraid no longer. Haley Byrd has embraced her servant's heart, which has been there since the start, and has been accepted to serve in YWAM Ireland and eventually (hopefully) to a designated place in Africa.
I write this post today to not only describe who Haley Byrd is, but how you can help. When talking about a mission trip, it is usual to talk about "needs" and "wants" whether it be of the people who are going or the people who are being served. Without a doubt in my mind do I believe that Haley Byrd NEEDS to go on this trip, not only for the sake of the children and people in need, but for her own good.
This shall be a life changing experience for both sides of the stone. For everyone involved. This girl has the ability to move mountains, whether she sees it or not. Your generous donation will most definitely not go to waste. Your generous donation will go to a strong-willed woman who has a heart of gold, a laugh like an ocean's breeze, and a mind that dares to plunge further.
To be honest, I genuinely believe I want this mission to happen more than her. And that is saying something, let me tell you! I am up countless nights praying, believing, knowing of all the good that will inevitably come from this journey Haley Byrd seeks to go on to serve and love those who need so badly to be loved. And to be loved by someone who understands, knows, and practices what it means to be loved. The two would only be a perfect combination.
Haley Byrd has saved up half of what she needs but she still is in need of around $4,000. Her trip lasts a total of six months which is why the price is so high. Although that is a lot, I am asking from the bottom of my heart to help reach this goal. It means so much more than just a mission trip. The money donated will without a doubt go to the betterment of Haley Byrd, but will also give her a chance to show the love of Jesus Christ to those who need to be shown, specifically through her.
For whatever you are able to donate, I will be incredibly grateful and she shall be too. I know how much this means to her and to me as well and for her to see that others are in support of her doing something like this, I can't even fathom the gratitude and love she will show to those who show love to her.
Haley Byrd is a top shelf type of person. Her qualities and characteristics are those that make me jealous. I only wish I could see the world and see people like she does. She sees their hearts. She sees who God created and intended them to be. Her compassion, care, and abundance of love belongs in Ireland and Africa. She belongs in Ireland and Africa.
Haley Byrd leaves for her trip around the 24th of September. This gives her barely more than a month to meet that goal. I believe, however, that anything is truly possible.
