Opening The Bus Stop was more than a business venture for the owners of The Bus Stop—it was a dream they poured their time, money, energy, and hearts into. After months of renovations, planning, licensing, and preparing, The Bus Stop was finally ready to open its doors. Then, just one day before the grand opening, a municipal water main break flooded the building and brought everything to a sudden stop. The Bus Stop never even got the chance to welcome its first customer. 
 
 
 It is difficult to put into words what it feels like to work so hard, get so close, and watch it all disappear overnight. The owners of The Bus Stop invested their savings into creating a place where people could come together, enjoy themselves, and feel at home. Now The Bus Stop is facing the loss of renovations, equipment, inventory, income, and the future that had been planned. Asking for help is not easy, but the owners are not ready to give up on The Bus Stop. 
 
 
 Every donation, no matter the amount, will help The Bus Stop recover, replace what was lost, and figure out the next route forward. The funds will also help the business find a new location if needed. If donating is not possible, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
