Danielle is an amazing seizure warrior princess! She has Aicardi syndrome which is a very rare genetic disorder that affects her brain. She has several seizures a day, cannot talk or walk and is globally delayed. After a lot of testing, second opinions and soooo many hospital stays we have decided to move forward with brain surgery. Her neurologist feels if she has a left hemispherotomy (removing most of the left side of her brain) she will have a chance at a better quality of life mostly seizure free!  This was a very hard decision to make and we have been preparing for it, in many ways, but how we could afford this financially was a big concern. Danielle will be hospitalized for 2 weeks and after will require alot of care and monitoring.  Unfortunately the shutdown from COVID-19 has cancelled all of our fundraisers and caused the sole provider in the house to be out of work for 6 weeks. We're making things work and continuing to prepare for her surgery this summer but we now  have an even bigger financial worry.  Were asking to give what you can or even just a share would be great, we understand times are tough for everyone and we appreciate just the thought and well wishes.   We are very blessed and fortunate for her to even be eligible for this life changing surgery, so we appreciate any any all everyone can do.
