<div>In Romania, insurance policies are not typical and as such, our family has absolutely no financial assistance available after this rapidly spreading fire engulfed their home mid-day on June 24, 2024, due to the carelessness of a neighbor who left a fire unattended. Both my in-laws are retired and do not have the future income opportunities commensurate with the massive undertaking of rebuilding their home from the ground up which is what they are faced with in the aftermath of this tragedy.

<div>We are grateful everyone in the house got out safely and are eagerly working to help them get back on their feet. The estimated costs to recover are most likely over $100k and everyone in the family is chipping in as much as each can to support these efforts but no matter what, it won't be enough.
