Help the Bunac Family Fight Cancer

My mother, Evelyn Bunac, was a dialysis nurse working for Fresenius Medical Care in Hoboken, NJ for nearly 20 years. In early 2019, she noticed pain in her lower abdomen. In April 2019, it was found that she had a growth that needed to be surgically removed. In May 2019, after having the growth tested, she was diagnosed with uterine carcinosarcoma (also known as malignant mixed Mullerian tumor or MMMT). After going through a few months of chemotherapy and radiation, her oncologist told her that there was nothing else she could do to help her. As a result, she has been on palliative care since October and was forced to permanently leave her job. As of November 2019, she was told that she only has two months to live. 

Prior to her illness, Evelyn was a hard-working and dedicated nurse who worked 12-hour shifts 6 times a week and even did overtime just to provide for her family. She is a caring, compassionate, loving, and forgiving person who treated her patients and co-workers just like her own family. She is also a loving and devoted wife and mother. Her kindness and generosity will always be remembered by all the lives she has saved and touched. 

The funds raised in this campaign will be used to cover medical bills and expenses, such as money that will help pay for her funeral/burial. Since we do not know how much time my mother has to live, we need help as soon as possible.
