Tiffany is raising this fundraiser for Celeste and Eric Brandt and their kids after a heartbreaking accident involving their two new puppies. This week, Celeste and the kids took the puppies to Churchill Park, a place the family visits often. While they were there, other community children were also present, petting and playing with the puppies, and the puppies were not free roaming. As Celeste stayed with the children and puppies, a couple of teens on dirt bikes came over the hill. In the chaos, one of the bikes drove into the middle of the kids and puppies. Celeste did everything possible to protect the children and the puppies, but one puppy was severely injured. He was rushed to the emergency vet, where the family learned he had blood in his lungs and a broken leg. He now needs transport to the Twin Cities for continued emergency veterinary care. The other puppy ran off during the accident and is still missing, and may also be injured. 
 
 
 This has been an incredibly traumatic experience for the entire Brandt family, especially the kids, who witnessed it all and are terrified for their puppies. The community has already been amazing in helping search for the missing puppy, and the family is so grateful for every bit of support. Donations will help cover current and upcoming veterinary bills, ongoing care for the injured puppy, resources to continue searching for the lost puppy, and other needs that may come up because of this devastating event.
