Help the Baniwa People of the Amazon

The  Arawak speaking Baniwa & Tariano peoples who live along  the Amazons tributary,  the Vapues River, are in grave danger.  Although they are relatively isolated they are being hit by the Covid-19 virus at an alarmingly disproportionate rate, much like our Navajo relatives in the United States.

Our brother, Rafael Brito Serewali Enu Irine,  of the Tariano and Baniwa people reached out to our organization requesting much-needed help for his family and his tribe.  We, in turn, contacted the Brazilian Consulate and  Estado do Amazonia for help or assistance. As we waited for their replies, scores of people became infected in these tribes.  After  3 weeks of waiting, we finally received an email denying our request! We must do better than this!

Please help us help the Tariano and Baniwa family members no Donation s too small or too big.
