On 5/18 our 2yo son Konin was rushed to Arnold Palmer Children's hospital due to ingesting Bucky Ball Magnets. He had undergone a Laparotomy &amp; had repair of Gastrotomy, medentary defect and a small bowel resection resulting in about 3 ft of his small intestines being removed. His recovery has been difficult as he has lost over 30% of his body weight due to Small Bowel Syndrome &amp; an infection post surgery. He was admitted back to Arnold Palmer on 6/9 and has had 3 feeding tubes placed. We are now going on to a 4th feeding tube which will be an NJ tube with a bridle as he has yet to gain any weight. We have 4 other children in home. Due to the severity of Konins issues I am out of work indefinitely at this time as I am at the hospital with Konin. Going forward once Konin is stable &amp; discharged from the hospital  we will be making multiple trips a week back to the GI doctors &amp; Surgeons in Orlando for weight checks and to get his feeding tubes checked and for exams on his bowels. <br /> This has been a long &amp; heartbreaking road as we take this day by day. With the added stress of bills needing to be paid we reluctantly made this go fund me at the request of family to help lessen the burdens we are currently  facing. Prayers are our #1 need right now.
