We are absolutely devasted to share with you all that today, The Anderson Hall was broken into and vandalised.
We are looking to fundraise towards a storage container or space to keep our scenery, costumes and props whilst our hall is out of use.
The Anderson Hall has been our rehearsal space, storage and home to all theatre lovers in Newton Stewart since 1993, and today it has been destroyed. The hall stored our expensive sound equipment and everything we need to put on our annual pantomime and shows for the community ever year (which could not happen this year due to COVID-19).
Although this is devastating, we will bounce back from this with the support of our community. We believe that the culprits have been caught, however this will not fix the state our hall has been left in.
Thank you to everyone for their continued support, and we will be back on stage in 2021.
