Surgery Funds for Sarah Akkawi

Hi - there is no easy reason to ask for money. Life has been hard as it as been for all of us due to COVID. I lost my job due to it and my husband is currently fighting for short term because he is having lung issues, and not only that but possible heart issues as well. He has been trying the last year and a half to get medical help and we have paid countless dollars and he is still sick.

He could possibly lose his job because the shortterm is not doing what they are suppose to do.

As for myself, I am also sick. I have had a constant cough for the last 4 weeks and am not getting any better.  Not only that but I have another medical issue that cannot be resolved until my cough is gone and yes - I have had multiple COVID tests. 

Some family know of the other medical condition but I wish not to speak on it because it is very personal (long story short, if this medical issue isn’t fixed I will not be able to have children) and if any family is willing to help/donate I can explain in confidence.

Long story short is we are both sick, some needing surgery that we cannot pay for. We just want to be well so we can work and live a normal life - that is all we truly want. We are to the point of taking money out of our only 401k to survive. So please any family and friends that are willing to help we would be grateful.

I did not know what amount to put because I am not sure how much treatment and costs will be. I’m hoping family and friend could spread this around because we are losing hope.
