<div>On January 20, 2026, our lives changed forever when a 2-alarm fire swept through our apartment building in Sunnyvale. In a matter of minutes, we lost everything we owned—our clothes, our furniture, our personal belongings, and the place we called home.

<div>The Current Situation While we are grateful to be alive, our family is currently facing a long road to recovery. My wife and our toddler are currently hospitalized receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the fire. My two older children, who are in 2nd and 7th grade, are safe but are struggling to process the loss of their home and the worry for their mother and youngest sibling.
