Help the A-1 Collision & Glass Family Recover

Donation protected
Hello,

My name is Tiffany Steinfath. I am helping coordinate recovery funds for the A-1 Collision & Glass family. As many of you already know, the business suffered catastrophic damage that will require a total rebuild from the ground up due to hurricane Ian. Unfortunately, after the storm had cleared our area, the owners were notified by their insurance company that there was no windstorm coverage on their business. They, along with their employees, have done everything in their best efforts to recover what they can from this catastrophe, but looters have already had their way with a lot of the exposed tools & equipment, and the storm had destroyed most of the property that the looters left behind. They have received quotes averaging approximately $500,000 to clear the debris and even get to the point of having available land to rebuild the business. This amount is not even including any of the costs to actually rebuild. We are looking at several years before operations can resume and before income can start coming in.

A-1 Collision has been in business in Englewood, Florida for 32 years, serving Englewood, Venice, Nort Port, Port Charlotte, and the surrounding communities. The owners, Corey and Susan Steinfath, not only lost their entire livelihoods, but have experienced this loss while Susan has been battling breast & ovarian cancer for the last 2 years, with a long road to recovery there still. This is devastating not only to them, but 2 of their son's whose entire family's incomes were dependent on this business, and several other men who have dedicated many years to rebuilding the communities vehicles after losses. We are now reaching out to our community, family, and friends in hopes of getting help rebuilding after our loss.

Thank you for your kind consideration, and we will keep you posted as best we can throughout this entire process. We are still struggling in North Port with extreme flooding, little supplies, and minimal internet and cell phone service in the wake of hurricane Ian. We are praying for the Steinfath family and all of the A-1 Collision and Glass family in these unprecedented times. We are praying for our local community as they also rebuild their homes and businesses, and we are praying for the opportunity to build back stronger to serve our community once again.
