I’m Dustin a loving husband and father to 4 children under the age of 10. My wife Brandi is attending college full time to become a nurse. I was the only primary income for my family. Driving a truck as a cdl truck driver. While visiting family on vacation, out of the blue I suffered a horrible tonic clonic seizure and during that seizure I posterior dislocated my shoulder which also broke my humerus bone in 4 places. I underwent surgery in Texas and spent a few days in the ICU. After I was able to return home I realized I lost my CDL due to the seizure. My wife offered to leave school and work but because she is so close to finishing school I talked her into sticking it out so we can provide a life for our kids. After starting physical therapy I ended up having a greater tuberosity fracture of my shoulder requiring a additional surgery just last week only a month after my first one. In the mean time I suffered another seizure causing them to up my medication. Currently I’m living on what little income from state assistance, family and our church family has helped us with. We are needing more help to make ends meet and would appreciate anything anyone can assist with. Thank you for reading my story and for the help and support.
