<div>It's been awhile since I've been able to share an update. As fa$cism continues to ravage our planet, I know so many of us are navigating economic crisis so I've been hesitant to ask for the help I need beyond keeping my wounds protected. I've been <strong>shadowbanned on social media for 7 years for sharing mutual aid &amp; being disabled</strong>, making it impossible to reach the community and relationships I nurtured for decades, especially when I'm in a <strong>constant state of unrest from pain &amp; nonverbal with little to no mobility.</strong>

<div>My limited energy has been devoted to local organizing efforts the past few months but I can no longer avoid my own critical needs. Along with my partner (who also lives with chronic illness), <strong>I must relocate by the end of the month</strong>. This will be a massive undertaking as it will be the third time we have had to coordinate a move while I am <strong>bedbound, with ongoing nightly fevers and infections all over my body. </strong> The more I use my limbs, the more they weep and infections spread.

<div>The summer heatwaves did not help and recouperation is always a slowwwww and unforgiving process. The medical dressings this requires is an unimaginable out-of-pocket expense, despite being one of the only options I have for any semblance of life. <strong>The cost of personal energy spent on my own wound care management is detrimental to my progress and will never be replenished. </strong>

<div>I've been trying endlessly to get “back on my feet” but this also exacerbates my infections, causing them to spread. <strong>Managing fevers and persistent flares</strong> is hard enough without having to relocate from a place that once gave me refuge to recover from black mold toxicity, cervical cancer, and full body systemic inflammation.

<div>My days are consumed with fighting for my life in the Medical Industrial Complex to maintain medical care at an ever-increasing <strong>$843 / month</strong>, while not being able to make a living wage (for 7+ years) and <strong>struggling to stay on top of raising funds for the medical dressings that make it possible for me to function at all on a daily basis. </strong>Many of you have been following me for years and know how long I've been enduring medical neglect, abandonment and extreme isolation. I have been more and more silenced, with less and less energy to keep up with communication. Capitalism has made it nearly impossible for me just to keep my eyes and nose (formerly head) above water.

<div>I am only still here today thanks to relentlessly self-advocating for care, my partner, &amp; all the people who have kept my wounds dressed. My skin has been VERY slowly and VERY subtly healing, even beneath all the inflammation. it's 100 steps backward for every 1 step forward, but it's <em>something</em>. I just need to make it safely thru this next transition or I risk losing everything it took to get this far. ♡ thái
