Help Thad and Sheela pay legal fees

For those of you who know Thad and Sheela you know that their kids are everything to them and that they are dedicated to making their blended family work. Earlier this year one of their children, from a previous marriage, was indirectly placed in harms way by the childs other parent. Thankfully no one was hurt but the behavior which caused this occurence left Thad and Sheela no choice but to take legal action. They are pursuing sole custody in hopes of gaining the legal rights and decision-making authority to protect the child should an incident like this occur again in the future. They also hope it will motivate the other parent to embrace and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Unfortunately it is extremely difficult for a father to be awarded custody against the mother in the state of Oklahoma and costs a lot of money. Thad and Sheela have already depleted their savings, used their entire tax refund and taken out personal loans to cover the attorney’s fees thus far but they still owe thousands of dollars and have to replenish their retainer before their next scheduled court appearance in early September. Thad and Sheela are at a loss and not ones to often ask for help so I am starting this GoFund page in hopes of raising funds to help them.
