Hello everyone! I am Terrah, Tex's youngest daughter. I am making this go fund me for my father.

On November 26th, 2024 Tex had open heart surgery. The surgery went as planned and his doctors successfully completed a quintuple bypass and he was moved in the ICU to begin his recovery. Not long after surgery, Tex was taken off the ventilator and given time to rest. The following morning, doctors had begun to wake him up only to realize that the left side of his face was drooping and the left side of his body was unresponsive. When the doctors ordered a CT for Tex, it came to light that he a suffered from a severe stroke either during or shortly after surgery. It was a right sided stroke that has left him completed unable to eat, drink, swallow or move his left side. After the stroke was made apparent, fluid gathered in his lung and as a result his right lung collapsed and he was then re-intubated and sedated. He is in intensive care and will there until atleast mid next week. At this time Tex is still on the ventilator but is responsive.

At this time we are asked friends and family to help my father in his time of need. He has a long road of recovery ahead head of him and will need support every step of the way.

My father is loved by many and loves his friends and family deeply even if he doesn't always show it. He is down and out and needs us all to come together for him whether that be by donation, visiting or send thoughts and prayers for him. This will be the hardest fight he's ever had and he needs us to be there and cheer him on.

Any donations made will go twords making sure his bills, rent and all of his expenses are taken care of so he won't have to worry and can focus on healing.

We appreciate all of the support and we know he has a huge support network between his friends and family.
