Please Help Save Tetty's Life!

Tetty is our 13 year old beloved family shihtzu, he was born with some bad genetics, but he's overcome many infections and deals with a lot, including a hernia.  Even though he requires help daily to defecate, he's still chipper and despite all his pain, he is an extraordinary sweet puppy who always wants cuddles.
One day his normally sweet cuddly self, became closed off and lethargic, he stopped eating and began throwing up.  When we took him to the vet they told us with physical exams she felt a lump and with the ultrasound they confirmed a large obstruction as well as fluid build up in his intestines and that they expected perforation.

He is currently being treated at VCA 24 hour Emergency Care in Irvine.

On August 30th: They said realistically the all the added surgery costs with only a hospitalization of 3 days will cost upwards of $12.926 (with no complications).  They said if we didn't do the surgery immediately he would die, and that they needed the deposit or he would be rejected.  They also said they do absolutely no form of payment plan and we are a loss of what to do proceeding with his treatments.

He had his emergency surgery where they said they needed to cut off a large chunk of his intestines b/c they had already perforated and rotted off, including the section that can absorb vitamin b12.  They also found tumors on his kidney (which they said they could not touch, because he was already so weak).
Now on the September 1st: He's needed additional tests and plasma infusions at $300 a packet because his blood is too thin and he's at high risk for spontaneous bleeding and they are telling us there's absolutely no way he can be released any time soon.
***VCA told us that his condition is very bad, that he needs constant medical care , and that if he comes home he won't make it.  We are heartbroken and all we want is to bring him home but they said they need to keep him at the bare minimum until well into next week with an average of $2500+ per day plus any additional costs for whatever else he needs.  The doctor informed us that realistically speaking this will be over $25000 in costs to keep Tetty alive and on the road to a good recovery.
Please help Tetty!  Any form of donation or help would be greatly appreciated.  All donations will be used to help pay for his vet bills. All we want is for Tetty to become well enough to come back home.
September 4th: After a lot of upsetting and disorganized proceedings at the vet, as of yesterday Tetty is getting cared for at home on a 24-7 watch. He’s on a lot of meds, but I think he’s trying his best to fight.
The vet continued to say he wouldn’t get better, that his condition was critical. They told us that it was not just possible, but likely that he might just pass away there by himself (but that he should leave him there anyways) and then said that he would decompensate at home. So basically they told us he would die ether way. Apparently there was a new vet every single time we had gotten to visit him (2-3x a day) and they were doing so much stuff to him that his body was having an extremely difficult time. They also said he had zero interest in water and food and wouldn’t get up at all, however once he came home he very willingly agreed to drink the water through a syringe, he’s also recently begun to have an appetite. We have him on a very close watch and we’re doing everything we can for him.
And I just wanted to say thank you again for any/all donations. Tetty is trying his hardest!
