Help Terry Ride on to Recovery

Many of you know our loving Dad, Terry Abplanalp. A hardworking man, loyal friend, uncle, brother, son, father and grandfather. He's the guy who loves his family and would do anything for anyone.
Friends and family he needs our support!
On July13th, 2017 after extensive testing, an MRI revealed that our Dad has a large skull based tumor (Meningioma).
On July 24th he traveled to Kansas City in hopes of finding a solution for the tumor and the pain and disability it has left him with. Due to the critical location and massive size of the tumor, they determined it may be too risky for them to perform the surgery.
Thankfully, after the devastating news, God made a way for us to visit MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. There we met with a skilled surgeon who is willing to perform the much needed operation that will span 2 days starting August 29th through August 31st. We know the surgeon will not be able to remove all of the tumor and do anticipate he will be needing radiation in the future. He will also be expected to go through rehabilitation following the surgery for him to fully recover.
As you can expect insurance will help with the surgeries, but will NOT cover the radiation treatments or the travel expenses for multiple trips to Houston. As you can imagine these extra expenses such as flights, lodging and food are mounting quickly. This is especially tough because the brain tumor has left Terry unable to work. We started this page in hopes it will help lift some of the financial burden and to give those who would like to help an avenue to do so.
If you are, or are not able to give, your steadfast prayers for a successful surgery and post-op recovery will be a huge blessing. Our deepest Thanks goes out to all of you for your love and support.
