On August 8th, my mom, Terrie Fisher (85), lost her home and everything inside after lightning struck her house and caused a devastating fire. Thankfully, everyone—including her dog—made it out safely, but the loss has been overwhelming. Terrie lost all of her belongings and is unable to stay in her house, so she is currently staying with family while figuring out the next steps.

The fire took away not just possessions, but also her sense of security and normalcy. Right now, Terrie needs help replacing basic essentials like clothing, food, and supplies for her dog. She’s also facing the challenge of finding a new place to live and starting over from scratch. Every contribution will help her rebuild and move forward after this devastating event.
