Help Us Help the Wongs
Welcome! We are raising money for Georgia, Matt, Teresa and Adrin Wong- a wonderful, generous, and kindhearted family who mean the world to us and need our help.
Liver cancer has been prevalent throughout Adrin's life, with his two brothers passing away from the disease at a very young age.
In December 2017, Adrin Wong was diagnosed with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. Despite 8 months of courageously fighting this illness, his battle is coming to an end. He was administered into a palliative care ward on Wednesday for a procedure and on Thursday we were informed he will not be coming home.
2018 has been a rollercoaster year for Adrin and his family. They've moved into their dream house which Adrin has spent years designing (it looks incredible), Georgia has started her first year of University, and Matt is well involved with University and the various society groups the University offers.
An incredible father, Adrin is loved by family and friends all over the world, and we want to commemorate his legacy and help his loved ones in any way we can during this difficult time. Adrin has always put his family and friends first, and we want to ensure that we continue to uphold this value by giving as much support to the Wong family as possible. We don't want financial stress to be part of the equation for them during this period of their lives. To do this, we need your help!
All funds raised will go towards paying medical and funeral fees as well as easing any financial pressures, Georgia, Matthew and Teresa have after his passing. This is your opportunity to contribute and continue the inspirational path he has forged for his family.
While we appreciate your concern and are forever grateful for your support, Adrin, Teresa, Georgia and Matthew have asked for privacy during this period and we ask you to respect one of his few final requests.
Adrin has become a second father to us, and we consider ourselves as more than just friends to the Wongs, we are family.
