Help Teresa Fight Brain Cancer

As friends and neighbors of Teresa Foley, we are setting up a gofundme page to help Teresa and her family. We want to help her pay for her medical and traveling expenses while she continues her fight against brain cancer.
Teresa was first diagnosed with a brain tumor in June of 2015. Due to its location at the base of her neck, surgery was not an option. Over the next two years, Teresa went through 46 rounds of radiation and 24 rounds of chemotherapy, kept her always positive attitude, and willed her way to a positive treatment result.
However, those positive results were not to remain. Recently, it was discovered that the tumor in Teresa's brain had grown to a new area of the brain. Through biopsy the doctors determined the new tumor has Grade 3 & 4 cells. Due to these results she will need to start treatment immediately. Treatments will include more radiation and drugs and possible clinical trials.
Teresa is a very intelligent, funny, super positive, 48 year-old woman. You cannot have a conversation with Teresa without smiling and laughing. She has a way of cutting away the nonsense and drama of life’s day to day events and focuses herself and her energy with what is important in life. She tackles important problems head on and lets the unimportant roll off her back. What is most important to her is her family. She and Bob have been married for 21 years. They have two children, Katie (16) and Ethan (14) that mean the world to them. The family currently lives in Melbourne, Florida. The Foley's are such an active family, always outside playing, biking, and walking their two dogs. Even through chemo, Teresa would take every opportunity to exercise, and always pushes herself to keep going.
Teresa is passionate about her children and passionate about enjoying life and making the best of every situation. She is very active in her church, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Viera, FL. She continues to spread her faith and love of God to all that know her.
Throughout the entire two years that she fought that first cancer tumor, we never heard her complain or feel sorry for herself. She remained positive that she would beat it, that her doctors were taking the best care of her, and that God was looking out for her. She is one of the most inspiring individuals we know. Teresa is the person we constantly look to for advice and focusing us on what is important in our own lives. She so genuinely cares about people. She listens, encourages and shares her advice so selflessly that we often forget she is even sick.
We think setting up a gofundme page is a wonderful way to help support the Foley Family. For those of us that do not know how to help, this is a wonderful way to help. These donations will help cover medical expenses and travel, easing the burden and worry of funding these efforts. Teresa has a wonderful doctor and staff that have gone above and beyond to support her. Her doctor is located in New Jersey, which makes for a lot of flight$, hotel$, rental car$ etc. The care she is receiving is so exceptional, and with her family's support, they would like to continue making the journey back and forth. With Bob working full time, each one of Teresa's appointments becomes a true juggling act of making sure that the house and kids are being taken care of while she is away getting the best possible treatment. Bob has been Teresa's rock throughout this whole fight. And the guy is always making the best dinners for her. What a catch!
Please help Teresa fight her next battle against this new brain tumor. Knowing there is money to help cover some of the expenses will hopefully help ease some of their anxiety, and allow Teresa to focus on her fight. The Foleys are uncomfortable asking for help, as they are accustomed to being the ones providing help. We have forced this on them with the agreement that any money raised, not used toward Teresa’s fight with cancer, would be given to someone else in need.
