Hello, my name is Teresa Davis, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story. My family has been blindsided by the mental health of my daughter. I was unaware of how difficult it had become for my daughter to cope with everyday life. I missed all the signs that she was struggling, and my daughter ended up having a mental breakdown. Things have been really hard for my family mentally, emotionally, and financially. I have been taking care of my daughter, trying to get her back healthy and being supportive in every way possible. Now that my daughter is dealing with her mental health, it is hard for her to do the things that need to be done for her son, who is my grandson. Having to pay out-of-pocket expenses for daycare, rent, and food has taken a toll on me. I’m struggling to keep my household afloat. I struggle emotionally because I feel I have to be strong for everyone.
