Help Tera Through her long recovery

My name is Tera Moore on March 15th, 2023, I was hit repeatedly on the right side of my head for not doing as my husband (now ex-husband) demanded of me. I had slight bleeding from my ear and ended up at the E-N-T (Ear Nose and Throat doctor) a few months later, where I was misdiagnosed with fluid on the ear and had a tube inserted. Over the next months, the drainage got worse, and I developed a severe headache, neck pain and stiffness, vertigo, and nausea that continually got worse. I attempted to see my original E-N-T and was denied an appointment as I owed the doctor $300 still. Due to this, I ended up at a different E-N-T who, in less than 30 minutes, diagnosed me with a CSF leak in November 2024 and ordered a CAT scan. The CAT scan showed that the temporal bone in my right ear was gone. Next, I had to collect my cotton balls from my ear and have them sent for testing, which confirmed the presence of cerebrospinal fluid. To fix this issue, I am scheduled to have surgery in Kansas City on March 11th, 2025, and will be out of work 4-16 weeks, possibly longer. The exact procedure is a right middle fossa craniotomy with repair of the tegmen defect and repair of the superior canal, along with removal of the tube and closing of the hole where it was. I have no choice but to get this surgery, and every day without it leaves me in extreme pain and a multitude of debilitating symptoms and at risk of getting meningitis. I will have FMLA that will protect me from losing my job that I have been at for 4 years come May, but I only have 100 hours of sick and vacation time, which will cover a little over 2 weeks; after that, I will be on unpaid leave. Normally, I would not ask for help as everyone has problems, yet I don’t want to lose my car and home while recovering, so I humbly request some assistance in my time of need.
