Help Teddi with Paul's medical and funeral costs.

Donation protected
My dear sister Teddi, sadly lost her husband Paul, this week after he spent many weeks in the hospital, mostly in ICU, fighting for his life. She is not only suffering the pain of losing Paul, but now she has to face the cost of his funeral and also what will surely be huge medical bills.

I would like to share the last few weeks of Paul's life, in the words of his family:

On December 16th our dad complained of a little shortness of breath and with lots of urging from his family, he finally agreed to get checked out. He was found to be much more sick than he expected. Tests confirmed he had blood clots in his lungs, he was having a heart attack, and the arteries in his heart were almost all completely blocked. Our dad was admitted to the hospital, put on blood thinners, then when it was safe to do so got scheduled for a triple cardiac bypass. Meanwhile our dad being our dad kept up his sense of humor always making the staff taking care of him laugh. His surgery came, went well, and he began the road of recovery. The night before his discharge home, our lives forever changed. We got a call at 3am saying our dad went into respiratory and cardiac arrest, required resuscitation efforts, and was now on full life support. We were shocked and devastated though assured by his doctors he would come out of it. As our dad began recovering, they noticed he was no longer moving his left side and scans confirmed he had also suffered a massive stroke leaving him unable to speak, swallow, or move his left side. Over the next month and a half our dad put up a valiant fight, but unfortunately he met setback after setback and his body just simply couldn’t recover. On February 2nd as a family we made the heart wrenching decision to transition our dad to comfort care only. We were able to gather as a family, spend time with him, laugh, reminisce- all the things he would have wanted. At 4:15am on February 3rd he peacefully graduated from this life. We are heartbroken. Our creative, talented dad who knew how to make everyone laugh will be sorely missed. We find peace that he is no longer suffering, and comfort in knowing he surely had a joyful reunion with his parents and other family members on the other side.

Any help you can give to my sister will truly help her and will be appreciated beyond measure!
