<div>Team Tirrell had some scary news last Friday (2/28/25), and we are supporting Mikayla, Chris, &amp; Colin during this ongoing time of need.

<div>The family had been mildly ill with Covid these last couple of weeks, but Chris was not improving. Friday morning, he had shortness of breath, and they called an ambulance immediately. Once at the ER, it was revealed that Chris had several pulmonary embolisms. He underwent immediate surgery to have the clots removed from his lungs. <strong>The surgery was successful and after three days at the hospital, Chris is now home recuperating! </strong>

<div>The healing journey is now beginning, and is expected to take a couple of months before Chris is back at regular activities, or any return to work.

<div>Here's where we're asking for your help. As many of you know, our grand-baby, Colin, is just 6 months old, and Chris is his primary caregiver when Mom is at work. Mikayla used what medical leave she had during the pregnancy/ birth/ baby-bonding time,  and Indiana has no state-funded disability. There are many unknowns at this point but regular household bills will continue, along with new costs for daycare help, related healthcare costs, etc.
