Help Nepali Students attend HULT PRIZE Boston, US

Winners of Hult Prize Regionals at Kathmandu Summit, we are a team of 3 engineering students from Nepal. Rising above thousands of teams from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal, we have been able to secure our spot in the HULT ACCELERATOR, 2022, happening in person in Boston, America. To be a part of the competition and unveil our potential to the global community, we are seeking monetary help.

What is Hult Prize?

The Hult Prize, referred to as the Nobel Prize for Students, is a competition that challenges young people to solve the world’s most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship. Every year, a team with the most impactful idea receives $1M USD in funding to make their idea a reality. We are in the semifinals of the Hult Prize, where 16 teams from the world have been selected among 100,000s to compete for the 1miliion dollars.

MeasureMe.AI in Hult Prize Competition
We had participated in Hult Prize On-Campus Event at Pulchowk Campus where we competed with 110 teams from 15 IOE-affiliated campuses.  We were able to win the competition that took us forward to the Hult Prize Regional Kathmandu Summit. This competition was among 70+ university teams like us from 4 countries- Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. The competition was ferocious, still we were able to bring home the beacon. We are now in THE GLOBAL ACCELERATOR PHASE, a 6-weeks intensive hybrid program where we will be meeting with world class business experts and learning from Hult Prize's staffs both virtual and in-person. The in-person is gong to be held from July 25th-August 12th at the Hult International Business School, located at 1 Education St, Cambridge, MA 02141 to qualify for the $1000,000 grant prize to take our start-up to the next level.

Our Startup

Our idea is MeasureMe.AI- an app that uses 3D technology to scan our body, provide accurate 3D dimensions of the body, monitor the body, and give personalized reports. The app finds its usefulness in the early detection of malnutrition in children, identifying hunger hotspots, mitigating the epidemic of obesity and cardiovascular diseases in developed nations, and assisting people to track their health and their body.

 MeasureMe.AI could save 1000s of infant lives per year in Nepal alone with early detection of malnutrition and could save $140 billion in medical costs for treating obesity in the US alone. With our vision, mentorships, and teamwork, we believe in the power of our idea to touch a million lives and solve real problems of underdeveloped nations, developed nations, and the whole world at large.

 

We are not only representing our colleges or universities, we are representing our country Nepal along with our neighboring countries India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh on this global platform. 

We, young entrepreneurs from Nepal, are in a dire need of support to get to Hult Global Accelerator. We will be as transparent as possible with our monetary needs.
