Help Teagan Get A Service Dog
Donation protected
Hello all, here is an update. Teagan started her epilepsy journey in February 2018, but was not officially diagnosed until April after a 30 minute grand mal seizure. Since that day, she has been through countless diagnosis, medications, treatments, and even types of seizures. Through every ambulance ride and hospital stay, she makes the best of it, always making everyone laugh in the process (even when shes getting an IV) and letting her radiant personality shine through to everyone she meets. However, whereas we thought Teagan was a candidate for a surgery that could have potentially cured her epilepsy, she is no longer a candidate due to her changing diagnosis. Her seizures have become more frequent, and are not what they once thought. Seeing her go through this is one of the hardest things a parent can go through, and it is something i would not wish on anyone. Blessing Teagan with a service dog would not only provide her with comfort in her most terrifying and exhausting moments, but also give us the comfort of being able to leave the house with a slight peace of ming. Right now, we barely leave the house. We can’t take her to the park like the other kids, because if she falls and hits her head she will have a seizure (it happened in Chick-Fil-A). We can’t take her to certain events or classes because too much stimulation can cause her to have a seizure. Even a simple grocery store trip can result in a seizure (it did not too long ago). Having the comfort of an alert dog would mean the absolute world to us, and at the very least give us the time to prepare for her seizures and calm her down. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. We can never thank you enough. Please share and help us give our warrior the comfort she deserves. God bless.
