Help Taz breathe freely again! Emergency

Hello Dear Friends and all the Animal Lovers (aka Potential Friends!!) out there!

We are creating this fundraiser to help Taz - a beautiful, gentle soul gracing this Earth in the form of a fluffy and snuggly little Prairie Dog <3.

Taz is a 7 year old sweet boy with some minor dental issues (he requires teeth trimmings from time to time). He is a happy boy who loves his snacks, his big dog sister Indiana and his loving, devoted mom and caretaker, Jodi.

Sadly, a couple of weeks ago Taz unexpectedly developed breathing issues :(. He is still rather active, eating and drinking, which leaves us very hopeful for his full recovery. However, he has a hard time catching a breath while laying down and - due to that - resting properly. His tiny nose also looks very raw and runny, and his breathing seems labored and it makes a rattling/bubbling sound. He also sneezes a lot :(.

Due to a series of very unfortunate events (His mom suffered an on the job injury which required surgery. She was later prevented from going back to work full-time at that place of employment due to laws/doctor’s orders.She is starting a new job on 10/3 and will receive a first paycheck two weeks later), his mom cannot afford to take him in for a very necessary veterinary appointment immediately.

Therefore, and until Jodi’s first paycheck comes in, they need your help.

Jodi will be able to take care of his further appointments and medications costs if they are deemed necessary. But Taz might not have the time to wait. I visited them both today to help with some advice and suggestions. Taz is very well taken care of and he loves his life. But he is an older boy who really needs professional help and medications ASAP.

If you can help him, and us (his Mom and Auntie Dee) to make it through and get him help immediately, we will all very much appreciate it, and pay back in the future - by helping other little creatures who are in need of help.
