My name is Taymaious Jones, and I am a single mother of five wonderful kids. After being separated from my children for eight long years due to DSS, we were finally reunited. When my kids came back to me, they had nothing but the clothes in a bag. It was a heartbreaking moment, but I was determined to give them the love and stability they needed.

Life has not been easy for us. In 2021, my fiancé passed away suddenly in front of our family at home. The loss was devastating, and it forced us to move, leaving us homeless for two years. Despite all the challenges, I never gave up hope. Recently, I was able to secure a place for us to live, but keeping up with rent, utilities, food, and clothing for my children has been incredibly difficult. Every day, I work hard to provide for my kids, making sure they have what they need, but it’s a struggle to keep up with everything on my own.
