<div>Hi, my name is Taylor Williams. On April 22nd, I was diagnosed with triple positive breast cancer in my left breast.

<div>About 6 months ago, I underwent a lumpectomy surgery to remove a suspicious spot from my right breast. Surgery was successful! However, following MRI scans and biopsy, a new spot had shown on my other breast. In just 6 months, triple positive invasive ductal carcinoma had grown in my left breast.

<div>From what I’ve come to understand, the bad news is: this type of cancer is highly aggressive. The good news is: it’s still relatively early and there are various treatment options.

<div>Because my genetic mutation reports a nearly 100% chance of breast cancer, I have a double mastectomy scheduled for May 28th, 2025. Following my double mastectomy, I will undergo chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone treatment dependent on how well the surgery goes.

</div>
<div>I’m thankful for the screening methods that I so rigorously undergo to have caught this early. However, receiving the diagnosis and being scheduled for such a daunting surgery nearly a month later has been overwhelming to say the least.
</div>

<div>I am only 3 years out from being in remission from stage 4 colon cancer. Between then and now, I’ve had a squamous cell carcinoma (skin cancer), precancerous cells in my esophagus and right breast, and numerous other cancer scares. While the screening is helpful in prevention, it’s exhausting in execution. Since my original diagnosis, cancer has sucked me so dry—from my physicality, to my mental state, to my finances—everything.

<div>Today, I am reaching out to my family, friends, colleagues, community members, and strangers for any kind of assistance. Any funds will be used for ongoing medical bills and household funds while I’m on leave of absence from work for surgeries/infusions/appointments. I hate having to create another GoFundMe, but it has been the only way I've been able to afford any of my treatment in the past.
