Help Tasmin win her cancer battle

As an independent, single mother supporting her two sons, Tasmin has fought many battles. Yet, nothing prepared her for what came after a routine exam last month. She has been diagnosed with Colon Cancer and will undergo surgery on September 21, 2018. Although family and friends are lined up to help, Tasmin depends on her income to cover her living expenses and support her young son. Unfortunately, during her recovery, she will receive only a portion of her salary, leaving her unable to meet her living expenses and all of the costs that come with this kind of medical care.
 
Our goal is to provide her with the most necessary financial resources so she can concentrate on healing and full recovery, allowing her a quick return to work.  To this end, we are rushing to collect as much as possible before she leaves for her surgery. Right now, her recovery is forecasted to take approximately 12 weeks. This is too long to go without a full check!
 
 We hope you can help us raise $5,000 to help cover some of her living expenses during her recovery. We also aim to raise an additional $1,000 to help her with all of the additional costs related to her surgery, including prescriptions and other medical expenses.
