Hello! My name is Tasha and I need some help, friends! I have been in recovery for almost 10 months now. My life has changed for the better in ways I never thought possible. I have been in a treatment program with a company called Bicycle Health. I’d like to say they saved my life! They offer telehealth right through my phone with multiple groups/meetings every day, coaching/counseling, education/resources, and a provider/doctor who is a text away.

Due to financial circumstances, I am no longer able to pay for my insurance that allowed me to attend Bicycle Health. I applied for Medi-Cal and they cover the costs of my medication in the program. They will not cover the cost of the program itself though. Thankfully, Bicycle Health offers a cash pay option and also payment plan options. The cost of the program is $200/month. I have been racking my brain about what I can do to get this money as I am being discharged from their program for non-payment. I can’t imagine losing this and am terrified. I am super embarrassed to do this, but I put my pride aside because I know how much I need this. If I can get $200 to cover the cost of this next 30 days, I believe it will give me enough time to get another job and be able to pay for it thereafter. Where there’s a will, there’s always a way. I will do whatever it takes to stay in the program and I am willing to work for the money. I’ve never asked for help in this way and I know many will probably not like it. I know it is very tough times for everyone and that so many of us struggle to even have insurance. I love you all and I will continue to pray and work towards a solution.
