Help Tara with her medical bills

In December of 2020, Tara was diagnosed with a sarcoma cancer that is located in her pelvis and wraps around the bones and veins in her right leg. Ever since her diagnosis, she has been in and out of chemo and radiation treatments, as well as searching for medical professionals who can help with the issues the cancer is causing in her leg.

Thankfully, Tara has found a Doctor at MD Anderson in Houston who believes he will be able to operate. His plan is to surgically remove the cancer, but in order to be able to do that, she is having to work hard to regain the strength she has lost from her cancer treatments. She is currently attending physical therapy and working to build her strength up so her body is able to handle the surgery.

She will travel to Houston several times for pre-op visits, where the doctor will run some more tests to make sure everything is good to go, and monitor her progress. Once she is strong enough they will schedule her surgery.

We are starting this go fund me because Tara has been unable to work since February of 2021, and her medical bills are unmanageable with her insurance and disability alone. Traveling back and forth to Houston and the surgery will also be costly, so her medical bills will only continue to grow.
