Help Tara Thru Health Crisis & Return to SoCal

On Oct 13, Tara went to Oklahoma accompanied by her spiritual daughter from Activate, Lissette, to visit a cousin who had just had surgery. What started out as an $80 round trip plane ticket for a fun adventure out in the boondocks soon took a horrible turn. A couple days into the trip Tara began experiencing severe shortness of breath, thinking it was just asthma aggravated by allergies. ———- But upon finally going to the hospital for a breathing treatment, tests showed numerous blood clots spread all across both lungs. She was near passing out and was barely breathing. Doctors state it is very serious and she could have easily died from complications. They are saying that her right lung is barely moving but both are severely effected. It is accompanied by tremendous pain with burning in the middle of her chest and radiating outward. According to Tara "It’s like breathing through a pinched coffee straw stirrer."  ———☕️ She has been on IV blood thinners and antibiotics nonstop for 4 days.  Her heart rate continues to go into tachycardia throughout the day which is also causing a lot of pain. The doctors also haven’t completely ruled out a heart attack, because nurses and doctors alike are experiencing great difficulty getting enough blood to run the necessary tests— apparently her blood is “flowing like molasses.” ——- Tara is describing the feeling as "an elephant sitting on my chest that just started dead lifting a hippo and the pain is next level!” You know Tara and her accurate and crazy descriptions! To top it off, her back pain is pretty bad, being bed ridden all day and unable to move much. In addition of course, her Fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis have gone into overdrive and she said her joints feel like they’re being ripped apart. ——-‍♀️ Doctors said they will have to take it day by day because there are so many clots. Two separate doctors also said to expect pneumonia likely to follow. She might also have to be transferred to a larger hospital. Her trusty service dog Harley is there by her side helping as much as he can. Lissette has been such a blessing, staying loyally by Tara’s side and being a rock. Thankfully Wendy, Tara's mother, was able to get a last minute flight out and is now there with her to advocate and support her. However Tara can no longer have visitors because though she has had no signs of Covid, they tested her as a precaution and now put her in isolation. So she feels pretty lonely and defeated. Any prayers and words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. ———❤️ Tara and Lissette were supposed to fly home Oct 20th, but unfortunately with this health crisis, Tara will not be able to fly home for at least 2 weeks after being discharged from the hospital. The airport is 4 hours away and Lissette can’t their rental car back by herself so that is accruing an additional cost. Her flight has been rebooked to Oct 23rd which is a major additional expense as well. ————✈️ There are so many additional costs (Tara and Wendy may have to drive back), hotels, food, rental car, flights, and not to mention the out of pocket medical costs. In addition, Tara will not be able to work as many hours at her new counseling job (she is a teen therapist and does a bit of talking) and just had to buy a new computer that died and had to fix a major problem on her car, BOTH the day BEFORE she left for Oklahoma totaling $4,500. So it’s pretty overwhelming for her to figure out expenses right now. ———— My prayer is that the community she loves can come behind her and at least take some of that burden off her shoulders.
