Tara and Jeff Fischer, my neighbors, recently experienced a devastating house fire. Thankfully, they are safe, but their beloved pets—a 25-year-old tortoise and a bulldog—were injured in the incident. The fire has left them facing unexpected challenges, especially as their pets now require emergency veterinary care. As anyone who has cared for animals knows, these treatments can be incredibly expensive, and the emotional toll of seeing their pets in pain is overwhelming.

The funds raised through this campaign will primarily go toward covering the vet bills for the tortoise and bulldog, ensuring they receive the urgent medical attention they need. Additionally, any support will help Tara and Jeff with immediate needs as they work to recover from the fire and rebuild their lives. Your generosity will make a real difference, providing relief and hope during a difficult time.

I'd love to see our Sherwood neighborhood come together for our friends. Every donation, no matter the size, will help Tara, Jeff, and their pets on the road to recovery. Thank you for considering a gift to support this caring family and their beloved animals.
