Hello, my name is Tanya. I’m a full-time working mom doing my best to provide for my 10-year-old son. Right now, we’re homeless and living day to day, but I’ve been holding on to my job and pushing forward because I believe in building a better future for us.

About a year ago, I was in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. The accident forced me into a more expensive car payment, and from there it’s been a domino effect—struggling to keep up with bills, falling behind on housing, and now facing the possibility of losing the car I rely on to get to work. On top of everything, I was recently frauded out of money I had saved for an apartment, which set us back even further and made it impossible to secure stable housing. The biggest challenge I’m facing right now is that my car is about to be repossessed. Without my car, I won’t be able to get to work, which would make our situation even harder. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep us moving forward, but between housing struggles, caring for my son, and paying this high car note, I’ve fallen behind.

I’m asking for help to catch up on my car payment and give us a chance to breathe. Any amount—big or small—means the world to us.
